I am the owner and face behind Ruby's Dog Lodge. I am blessed enough to spend my days guiding, connecting and exploring with my pack of dogs and the people that love them. 

I started my business after saying goodbye to my soul dog, Henry, in 2018. Henry was what I call, a once in a lifetime kind of dog. If you've been lucky enough to have had one in your life, you know what I mean. Henry is the face of our logo and the reason behind Dog Lodge's existence. I wanted to give back to other dogs and humans, the way that Henry gave back to me. When he passed, everything changed for me. 

After a lot of education and consideration, I decided to leave behind 12 years of bartending experience to open my dog business! 

When I opened my business in 2019, my vision was completely different than what you see today. Since then, I have spent most of my time learning from my pack and some of the most talented and caring mentors I could find in the dog training world. I am incredibly grateful for their time and energy spent teaching and guiding me. 

The business you see today is built on a deep hunger for more knowledge and ways to help dogs and the people that love them. It's built on hard work and pitfalls along the way. It's built on beautiful connections between humans and dogs. Most importantly, It's built on the connection and relationship i had with ONE dog, my Henry.
